Most of our fishing takes place in the Indian and St. Lucie rivers, the St. Lucie Inlet and offshore from Stuart, Fort Pierce, Jensen Beach and Hobe Sound.

When I was a sports writer in Tampa, my friends and I would play hooky from our jobs to spend the day working our way down the Gulf Coast from
Beach to St. Pete Beach. Our excuse to wives and girlfriends was we were on a “corporate retreat.” This ensured no phone calls or interruptions to our partying ways as we took part in our “important company meetings.”
